I just finished What the Dead Know by Laura Lipman. Loved it! Bought Drop by Drop by Keith Raffle and will start that soon but got sidetracked by Hopi Summer, the One Book Arizona book by Carolyn O'Bagay Davis. As you might know, Hopi culture fascinates me.

I just finished MISSING PERSONS by Clare O'Donohue, and I really enjoyed it. Now, I must decide what to read next. Here are some of the books at the top of my TBR pile (excluding MInker books, which are also in the stack): EDGE and A MAIDEN'S GRAVE (Deaver), LAWS OF ATTRACTION (Allison Leotta), A HANGING TREE (GRULEY), and EYES OF THE INNOCENT (Brad Parks).

I just finished my first two M.C. Beaton books--Quiche of Death, the first in the Agatha Raisin British busybody series, and Death of a Scriptwriter, the eleventy somethingth in the Hamish Macbeth Scottish cop series. The mysteries were good, but the writing is quite spare.

I just finished City of Shadows by Ariana Franklin (fabulous book!) and am about to start Bingo Barge Murder by our very own Jessie Chandler.
